TinySpider

TinySpider project is an exploration into procedural animation and some of its applications in Unity. I attempted to bring a spider to life without using the Animator, relying instead on Inverse Kinematics (IK) for the legs, with their positions updating dynamically based on the spider's intended behavior and state.
I aimed to make the spider's movements as convincing as possible by allowing its legs to adapt and reposition themselves on any surface using a variety of physics-based detections.
The two front legs are also used for interactions by attaching themselves to objects the player picks up; they very rarely pass through surfaces, but if they do, the object is released.
For the web, I used a Verlet rope alongside a tension force logic between the start and end points whenever the web is pulled taut
